Denis Walter

After 3 decades in entertainment, Denis Walter remains one of this country's most successful performers. Gold records, command performances, countless television guest spots, the list is long, distinguished and varied.

Having travelled the world singing, Denis moved into television and radio in the late eighties joining GTV 9 hosting Keno and doing guest spots on Ernie & Denise plus other network shows. He also dominated Melbourne radio mornings going to number one in his first survey. These days he's part of the 3AW team, Melbourne's leader in news and current affairs.

Television news has also become part of the Denis Walter career having been weatherman for National Nine News and now presenting WIN News to a million viewers through regional Victoria and Southern New South Wales. After a short break from singing Denis returned to live performances with sell-out shows around Australia and recorded his 14th album for Warner Music.
